Boy Scout Retreat

2010 CATHOLIC SCOUT RETREAT WEEKEND
Held at Trexler Scout Reservation on Friday, April 16, 2010 through Sunday, April 18, 2010, this retreat is required for all Scouts working on their Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII awards. Click here to download the registration form to attend this retreat and to learn more.

FOR WHOM
All Scouts working on the Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII Awards are required to attend this Retreat. This program is based on the Catholic Faith and Scouting Ideals. Even if you are not working toward a religious award, you will find the opportunity to retreat from your everyday world in this outdoor setting to be rewarding. Catholic Units are encouraged to attend as a group with proper leadership; Catholic Scouts in any unit may attend provisionally. Older Scouts, Explorers, parents and other adults are also invited to participate with our staff. Units may bring Webelos.

PROGRAM FORMAT
The same format will be used for the Retreat weekend this year in order to facilitate the Retreat Program and Boards of Review. The Retreat will begin with an opening on Friday evening. There will be a full schedule of program events on Saturday with the Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII Boards of Review conducted late Saturday afternoon. Mass will be celebrated Saturday evening. Breakfast on Sunday morning will be followed by camp clean-up and check-out by 11:00 am. Cooking will not be done individually; all Scouts and Scouters will eat in the dining hall. There will be three meals served on Saturday, a cracker-barrel on Friday evening, and breakfast on Sunday morning.
